Country Fair 2019

We threw open our doors, once again, for the Annual Country Fair and Open Day on the last Saturday
in June. The sun shone on our school for the big day and this helped attract thousands of visitors.
Kicking off the main ring was the stock showing; where the students prepare an animal, halter
train it and then show it in front of hundreds of people. Also in the ring for the public was the Recycled
Racehorse Falconry Team with a beautiful grade 1 racehorse from Godolphin, Freddie Parker
had her engaging duck racing and BASC performed a countryside display. Around the school visitors
could sit in the walled garden, see the animals on the farm, watch blacksmithing displays and
soak up the ambience of our truly unique school. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to
support but an even bigger thank you to the staff and boys plus the family members who helped out
with FoBSA – it really was a team effort!
