Over 3000 visitors came amongst the sunshine to attend a very successful and busy day at the annual Brymore School Country Fair and Open Day held recently.
In the main ring, a programme of events enthralled the public. The interactive display by Freddie Parker and the duck herding collies was excellent as was the tractor handling demonstration and dog agility. The programme was interspersed with Brymore boys parading their livestock and culminated in the inter-house Tug of War. The victors this year were Walker House who then took on the Bridgwater Young Farmers team, narrowly missing victory. In addition there were many trade stalls open, bee-keeping demonstrations, scuba diving and an open farm along with large walled gardens and a flower show.
