The Year 9’s paid a visit to the Ambassador Theatre in Woking on March 6th to see the moving production, based on the book, of Goodnight Mr Tom. The story follows a young boy unhappy at home, William, who is evacuated during the second world war into the care of recluse Mr Tom where they enjoy a happy and loving friendship.
The Year 9’s really enjoyed the day and seeing live theatre has certainly added to their enthusiasm in English.
