In March 2018 Ofsted visited Brymore. We were very happy with the comments of the inspectors and the boys conducted themselves, as they usually do, with manners, confidence and a sense of pride in their school. We were delighted with our continued ‘Good’ rating from the previous Ofsted inspection in 2015 and it is a reflection of our staff and students hard work that we had such a positive outcome. We were also inspected in March 2019 under the boarding framework where we were also judged as good across all categories.

We had a one day re-inspection for the school in March 2018 where we were judged as good in all categories and the letter can be found here
As a state boarding school we are also subject to Ofsted boarding inspections and in March 2019 we were judged as good in all categories. Please see information on this below:

The results for 2018 continue to show that boys at Brymore make good progress compared to similar boys nationally. Whilst comparisons with previous years are difficult due to changes in the grading system it is clear that excellent progress is made across a range of subjects including English, Science, DT, Engineering, PE, Art, agriculture and horticulture.
We are also featured in the Good Schools Guide and have been inspected by them. The information on Brymore and the report can be accessed here.
