In February 2024 Ofsted undertook a Section 8 inspection and they wrote ‘the evidence gathered suggests that the inspection grade might be outstanding if a graded (section 5) inspection were carried out now.’
In March 2018 Ofsted visited Brymore. We were very happy with the comments of the inspectors and the boys conducted themselves, as they usually do, with manners, confidence and a sense of pride in their school. We were delighted with our continued ‘Good’ rating from the previous Ofsted inspection in 2015 and it is a reflection of our staff and students hard work that we had such a positive outcome. We were also inspected in 2023 under the boarding framework where we were also judged as good across all categories.
