It was not a result that any of us wanted or had hoped for, as the Brymore rugby team were defeated 15-5 in the final to Haygrove, however it was a match filled with heroic battles, courageous boys and a team effort to rival many a national squad.
Captain – Sam Webb, led the team onto the pitch amongst huge cheers from the Brymore faithful and from start to finish showed true leadership qualities. With the second half proving to be the time Brymore came into their own the line just didn’t arrive often enough no matter how close the boys got crossing it. Each and every member of the team were outstanding in their efforts and a special mention to Mr Spridgens who coaches the team and ensures they are at their optimum fitness game after game.
