We have been delighted to welcome Olympian and Commonwealth pistol shooting medallist Georgina Geike to Brymore.
Georgina gave a talk to the boys about her journey to becoming an Olympian and how she is firmly setting her sights on the Rio Olympics in 2016 where she is chasing a medal. After the talk Georgina and her coach took small groups of boys for lessons and gave them tips on how to hold the weapon and the safety around using a weapon that is only designed for the sporting arena.
All boys thoroughly enjoyed Georgina’s visit and we would like to extend our thanks to her and Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership (SASP) for coming along.
