COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

We do not have any cases of Covid-19 within the school and are fully open but will be using this page to update parents/carers and the wider community on any developments. We communicate with parents via the MyEd App and text message along with information posted here.

Safety of staff and students is paramount so we will be doing all we can to ensure the measures put in place are adhered to.

Please see here for information on the management of COVID-19 in school age children as it is vital that you do not send your child to school if they have any of the following symptoms and follow the guidance in the management document and call 119 for further advice:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
